Omigosh guys. I'm sooooo sorry to have apparently attracted spam about earning RUPEES! (See below.) Btw that's maybe $800 a month.

Wonder what the keywords were that pulled that in? Cornucopia? Bar rent? Hungry scream? My IP address? (Which is NOT India, thank you very much. We do not have nearly enough electricity up here to do outsourcing. Silly Indian spammer.)

edit: I see it's been removed by the Powers That Be. Aaaaaw, and now y'all lose your chance to earn 40,000 rupees per month! (Thanks, Powers That Be. Unless, of course, the Powers That Be put it in their own folder, and are greedily keeping this Wonderful Chance to themselves. Archives don't pay enough, eh?)

Yeah, the internet is a tricky place

AR, I'm glad you posted about that show. '66 is one of my favorite years and that show in particular. In the Pines is a real treat. Cardboard Cowboy is not. But the shear bravado is to be applauded.

I'm going to load this show on my MP3 player today.

Oh, I definitely think Cardboard Cowboy is a treat! A trainwreck of a treat, but still. It has a cool manic magic carpet ride sound (though it definitely exceeds its grasp), and it's sure interesting historically -- partly for what it seems to be trying to do. It seems to have the early seeds of St Stephen in it, actually ...

As for the words, well, the band does get pointers for remembering them. And really, if you had to pick between Door A: Lyrics to Tons of Steel, and Door B: Lyrics to Cardboard Cowboy ... hmmm, which is more fun to hear?!?

In the Pines is great; so is Cream Puff War, the early Rider, Viola, etc. An all-around fun show with lots of treats. Neat new discovery for me, anyway! :-)
